Dummies.comLosing weight and improving my health are always on the 'ol "to-do" list and with the New Year quickly approaching, I'm giving these topics more and more thought.  Although I'm not what you would consider overweight, I would like to lose about 10-15 pounds, especially in my belly area.

I'm also not known for my healthy eating and am always on a quest to do better in that department.  Thankfully, the folks behind the "For Dummies" series of books has written the perfect guide combining proper diet and nutrition aimed solely at losing that belly.  It's called Belly Fat Diet for Dummies and I couldn't wait to dive in and learn more!

I reviewed the Belly Fat Diet for Dummies paperback book which retails for $19.99, but is currently on sale for $12.72 with FREE SHIPPING.

Bailey BerryMy daughter Riley is always on the go!  If she's not playing in the backyard or monkeying around at the neighborhood park, she's off on a bug, leaf or other nature-related excursion.  Because of her constant explorations, Riley is naturally hard on her shoes.

When buying footwear for her, I always look for comfort, rugged durability and of course, cuteness!  Bailey Berry brand is the culmination of a two year mission to create the perfect kids' shoes. Bailey Berry is inspired by the vibrant environments of Manhattan, the Hamptons and the Adirondacks.  Not wanting to sacrifice fashion for function, BB Stars kids' shoes are fun and built to the highest quality standards.

I reviewed a pair of Bailey Berry BB Stars Kids' Shoes, which retail for $42.00.

Western Penn ToyotaIf you need work done to your car, take it to Western Pennsylvania Toyota.  They always treat their customers like family instead of just clients. They're a great source for Pennsylvania tires too. The company tries not to order tires from out of state so that the money spent in this state stays in this state.

One of the most commendable things about this company is that the service department offers discounts for services like oil changes and tire rotations.  A certain amount is discounted from the overall price and the amount of the discount increases as more money is spent. You also won't have to worry about when your car needs an oil change because the company will automatically send a reminder notice in the mail. All of your car's records are kept in the computer system so that the technicians will know when your car needs to be inspected or the brakes checked.

If you ever have any issues with a check engine light being on or a strange noise, all that's necessary is to call the dealership and make an appointment. The service department tries to service every car the same day, but if for some reason this isn't feasible, then they schedule your service for early the next morning.

Disclosure:  I received compensation for posting this information.
