YAY! Last year, my vegetable garden was a total flop. But this year, I've got jalapenos, tomatoes and beans a-plenty on the vines! I feel like such a farmer right now! :)

Very exciting! I love getting a re-do every year to see if I can do better in the garden! Yours is looking awesome!! I am afraid to look at ours after today (It hailed all day!) Enjoy the yummy benefits!!

Hi Kari,
Thanks so much for checking out my garden! Oh, I hope the hail somehow spared your plants! It's funny how nature can turn ugly like that. Believe it or not, that's why I waited so long to post on the progress of my garden...I was afraid that I would somehow jinx it and next a swarm of bugs would eat everything overnight! LOL! Have a wonderful day! :)
Beautiful garden. We just started one this year. Onions, leaf lettuce,
cucumbers and radishes. Yours looks so healthy. You are way ahead of us. We live way north in Canada. I can see two onions popping out.
Very exciting. Enjoy your vegetables.
Hi Doreen,
Thanks so much for stopping by! Sounds like you've got a very yummy vegetable garden going too. I'm sure my garden might have a tad of a jump start on yours if you live way north in Canada, since I live way south here in Texas, but that's great that you're already starting to see some onions growing! You're right...it is very exciting to check on the garden every day and see what's new! Enjoy your harvest and have a wonderful day! :)
hi, good to land to your blog, Melissa. I want to start growing some vegs in my balcony. I hope it works. When I was still living in my parents house, I had tried to grow strawberries, onions, potatoes, tomatoes and marrows and it worked. It's great to eat from your own garden.
Hi Steven,
Thanks for the comment. Good luck with the container garden you're planning! I've always heard those work great since you have greater control over the soil and bugs, than gardens at ground level. I think I'm going to try growing some strawberries soon from a large planter...we'll see how that goes. Have a wonderful day! :)
Wow, Melissa! Your garden looks fantastic. I wish my house has a bigger backyard. Now, you can cook veggie dishes by using ingredients from your own garden. How efficient is that! I've seen carrot trees in my friend's backyard. They grow really fast ...
Thanks so much Andrew! It's so cool to be able to go outside everyday and see a whole slew of new little budding 'maters! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a great comment...hope you have a wonderful day! :)
