Rockin' around the Christmas Tree, Dreaming of a White Christmas and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas... These are all the classic Christmas carols that I grew up with. Every time I hear these timeless songs, I get a warm feeling in my heart because so many terrific memories are wrapped up tightly with each and every carol I hear.
I think that you're always partial to the songs you grew up with, which is why Wham's "Last Christmas" and John Lennon's "Happy Xmas (War is Over)" rank almost as high on my hit list as the classic Christmas carols themselves. Which has me wondering... Is this what my daughter is going to reflect back to when she's grown as a song that captures the season? GEESH...I hope not!
Merry Christmas Shawty!
