You see, I have always been one of those high-strung, over-achiever types who will tirelessly rise to the occasion and complete any task. Couple that with the fact that I am a perfectionist, means that a task which would take one person an hour to complete, will take me three. Not good for the 'ole shuteye.
Also, I may have neglected to mention that I'm somewhat of a night owl by nature and now I don't have an early morning job that I HAVE to get up and go to anymore, since I'm a stay-at-home mom. So, as you can see, all of these factors are adding up to my averaging around 5 hours of sleep per night. You may ask yourself at this point, "What the heck are you up doing at that hour?" Well, my husband and I are starting our own business and there seems to be an endless array of details that need to be taken care of. (I had no idea how many details, nor how detailed the details, until we jumped into this small business thing with both feet!)
Before the business, I was a breastfeeding mother who was working on increasing her milk supply (which meant pumping EVERY 3 HOURS) as well as tending to a newborn (which meant being up ALL NIGHT). After my daughter started sleeping through the night, I had discovered the obsession hobby that became entering contests and sweepstakes. There seemed to be a never-ending amount of sweepstakes to enter, and you know me, I was so organized that I had that racket down to an art form. It was a really good gig for awhile, but my passion for anything usually comes on like gangbusters and then peters out after awhile.
Now, I've discovered blogging, sort of by accident. My sweepstakes hobby led me to blog contests and giveaways. Once I started seeing that there were stay-at-home moms, just like me, hosting these cool giveaways, I knew that was what I wanted to do myself. I also love any kind of technology, so I had a real blast figuring out how to set up my blog and tweak it. So, here I am...another passion all aflame and as I look at my clock again, I see that it's 3:28 AM!
Is it possible for the tirelessly driven person to suffer severe sleep deprivation and become, TIRED? Anyone have any ideas on this one? I mean, just how bad can it get? Thank goodness that I do still have my coffee to perk me up!

Oh man, I totally hear you but you have to try and take it easy. You don't wanna overtire yourself.=)
...and hey thanks for the follow love. Have returned the favour.
This is a problem for me as well. I have to somehow keep my mind blank, or keep it busy with something else. I am a night owl as well and that never helps things.
