StandScanI'm literally amazed these days at how good camera phones are.  I can remember a few years back having a point-and-shoot camera that didn't take the level of quality photos that my iPhone does now.  Because camera phone technology has come so far, people are finding new and inventive ways every day to take advantage of it.

One such invention is from a company called StandScan.  They've invented a portable folding stand that allows you to turn your smartphone's camera into a portable document scanner.  The uses for this item are truly endless!  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the StandScan Pro Portable Document Scanner, which retails for $29.95.

Bailey BerryMy daughter Riley is always on the go!  If she's not playing in the backyard or monkeying around at the neighborhood park, she's off on a bug, leaf or other nature-related excursion.  Because of her constant explorations, Riley is naturally hard on her shoes.

When buying footwear for her, I always look for comfort, rugged durability and of course, cuteness!  Bailey Berry brand is the culmination of a two year mission to create the perfect kids' shoes. Bailey Berry is inspired by the vibrant environments of Manhattan, the Hamptons and the Adirondacks.  Not wanting to sacrifice fashion for function, BB Stars kids' shoes are fun and built to the highest quality standards.

I reviewed a pair of Bailey Berry BB Stars Kids' Shoes, which retail for $42.00.

Famous Footwear Just in time for the holiday season, Famous Footwear has launched its Voices of Victory campaign.  The campaign allows for people to create a free singing holiday greeting card to share with friends and family.  Participants will also add their names to Famous Footwear’s large greeting card to try to break the Guinness World Record for the most contributions to a greeting card!  If the record is broken, Famous Footwear will donate $10,000 to the March of Dimes.

ifocusAre you frustrated by your children's love of video games?  Do they spend countless hours "wasting time" when there's so many other worthwhile activities they could be doing?  If you have a child ages 6 to 12 years old, then please listen up.

I recently came across a magnificent program that draws from science, technology, nutrition and exercise to create a fun and interactive way for your child to improve their focus and attention.  It's called ifocus and is a scientific approach to improving your child's cognitive skills and development.

So is it really possible to give your child an "educated" video game which will not only challenge them for a few months, but can actually continuously challenge them for years?  Keep reading to find out!

I reviewed the ifocus Deluxe System, which retails for $199.95 with FREE SHIPPING.

Jack FranklinI'm a lucky girl in the fact that I get to see my husband dressed up almost every day of the week!  He has a suit and tie job, so I'm treated to a GQ stud coming through the door each evening.

The one thing I love about his suit and tie attire is picking out different ties for him.  It's amazing how his whole look can be transformed just by choosing another tie from his closet.

Jack Franklin ties were born after years of paying too much for high-quality ties.  As good as a nice silk tie that holds a nice thick knot is, no necktie is worth 100 to 200 dollars.  What's worse, most ties under $50 seem to skimp on the small details that turn a piece of neckwear into something you can be proud to wear.

I reviewed the following ties from Jack Frankin:

Zig Zag, which retails for $125.00, but is currently on sale for $34.00

Pacific, which retails for $95.00, but is currently on sale for $34.00

Caribbean, which retails for $115.00, but is currently on sale for $34.00
Receive 50% OFF your entire order at Jack Franklin with coupon code "Blg50gvwy" ~ Hurry, this expires 12/31/12.

PicturesOnGold.com Being a first time mommy, I love anything and everything that reminds me of my daughter, Riley, and the wonderful change that has happened in my life since becoming a mom.  I've long been a fan of photo jewelry and would love to have one commemorating my journey into motherhood, but unfortunately, I have never taken the time to actually put any pictures inside one.  Isn't that terrible?!

Thankfully, PicturesOnGold.com has a myriad of photo pendants available and ready for customization.  They even take care to inscribe your most precious photo on your jewelry selection using color laser engraving!  I had the chance to customize one of their photo lockets and if you're the lucky winner of this giveaway, you will too.

I reviewed the Sterling Silver Heart with Border Photo Pendant, along with an 18-inch Sterling Silver Box Chain from PicturesOnGold.com, which retails for $100.97.
