My family loves to go out to eat at any one of our many local restaurants here in Houston.  It's a quiet, peaceful time to get together, enjoy each other's company and let someone else do the work of cooking, serving and cleaning up!  :laugh:

Unfortunately, when you have a small child in tow, you'll find that dining out isn't always as peaceful as it should be.  I'm constantly worried about my child making a huge mess or even worse, getting sick from touching everything in the restaurant she can get her hands on and then putting those little hands back in her mouth.

I'm also well aware of the occasional "stink eye" I get from the waitstaff when walking into a restaurant.  Don't get me wrong, I completely understand, for I used to wait tables for many years while in high school and college and have given many of those "stink eyes" myself.

Riley is such an outdoor girl!  She absolutely loves going to the park for two reasons...getting to climb all over the huge playset there and sliding as fast as she can down the three slides available.  We take Riley to the park almost everyday, but sometimes, it's just not feasible.

I've always been a big fan of board games, card games and the like, so Hasbro is already a household name with my family.  Recently, I had the chance to review one of their most addictive gaming creations to date, called BOP IT! XT.

My 3-year-old is one bounding bundle of energy and sometimes keeping up with her can be next to impossible.  That's why I love letting her go outside to play.  It's great exercise and a wonderful energy release for her.  Unfortunately, last summer here in Texas, it was excruciatingly hot outside with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees more times than not.  And I won't even go into Houston's huge mosquito problem!  :pull hair out:

Less than half of U.S. office workers keep a toothbrush at the office so that they can give their pearly whites a cleaning during the workday, according to a survey commissioned by Church & Dwight Co., Inc., the maker of ARM & HAMMER Spinbrush ProClean battery-powered toothbrushes and ARM & HAMMER Toothpaste.  And of those workers who already take a toothbrush to work, about half of them are not brushing at the office on a daily basis.
