Colossal Christmas Countdown: 73 Days Until Christmas!

I am a huge fan of finding creative ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.  I'm always trying to keep my mind open to new ways of using old items, but I think I've found a company that has taken reusing and made it an art form!  The Book Box Company, Inc. takes old forgotten books, which have been sitting on shelves for decades collecting dust, and turns them into storage boxes. These storage boxes have an endless array of uses and I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to review one.  Keep reading to check out the many ways an old book can be recycled into a family treasure once again!

Normally, I would take pictures of the exact item I was sent for review, but in this case, I really want to keep secret what my particular storage book looks like.  Why?  This storage box looks JUST LIKE a regular book because that's exactly what it used to be in a previous life and I don't want to give away the secret identity of my particular title!  :)  Check out the video below to see what I mean: 

There is a wide variety of uses for these incredible storage boxes.  First, you could buy several of these and arrange them nicely on your coffee table for a super unique and aesthetic way to store your remote controls!  Personally, I will be using my secret storage book to securely stash our household cash, Christmas shopping lists, prescription medication, valuable jewelry, etc.  Basically, anything you want to keep for your eyes only will be protected in one of these recycled storage books.

Children could store their diaries inside and it's great for keeping a candy stash in too.  When I was a teacher, I would have loved to have this book near my desk for storing my cell phone and car keys in.  If there's one thing I've learned while being a teacher, it's that old books are the last place any student will pry!

Finally, I plan on taking this book with us while traveling, for it's perfect to store my camera and any other valuables I have to keep in my hotel room.
