As a first time mom, I'm sure I've made PLENTY of rookie mistakes with Riley, but there's one thing I know I did right the first time around...SWADDLING!  I had always heard that babies love the cramped feeling of being inside mommy's tummy and that swaddling them while they sleep will give them that comfortable and familiar feeling of home (as well as stop the jerky flinging of their arms which oftentimes wakes baby from their rest).

Cozy Cocoons are an absolutely brilliant new swaddling concept which are proudly made in the USA!  Smartly designed in soft stretchy cotton knit, you simply roll it up over baby and baby is completely tucked and held snugly.  There's nothing to wrap or snap, no Velcro, no zippers and no fuss.  If you're not exactly skilled in the art of swaddling, this is the perfect solution.  Once on, there is no jerking, startling movement and no skin-irritating synthetic fabrics either so that little limbs can explore and stretch safely.

The beauty of the Cozy Cocoon is how easy it is to use.  Scrunch it up in your hands, just like you would do a sock or pair of pantyhose, and stretch it up over the legs and body.  Gently tuck baby's hands inside, carefully folding them over the chest while guiding the cocoon up the neck.  Slide on the matching baby hat and voila!  You have one warm, snug, swaddled and adorable baby!

Of course, who could deny how absolutely precious all of the Cozy Cocoon baby body socks are?  I couldn't get over how well-designed and intricate some of these swaddles were!  I wish I would have discovered Cozy Cocoon back when Riley was born, for I would have had so many precious photos of her looking cute as a button while being swaddled to sleep.
