When it was time for me to get married, I desperately wanted to have long, flowing locks for the ceremony.  Unfortunately, I have been born with baby fine hair, which ends up looking stringy if I let it grow too long.  I thought that I would just get some hair extensions sewn in for our wedding and honeymoon, until I found out how much they cost!  So, it was time to do the next best thing, which was to buy some extensions and have them clipped in.

I was very nervous on my wedding day, for I didn't know how well these extensions would stay clipped onto my hair.  My fine hair is so slick, that a lot of hair clips and accessories will fall out in a short amount of time.

My friend had to put half a box of bobby pins in my hair just to keep my extensions in.  Because I didn't know for sure whether or not my clipped-in extensions would last with all of the hugging and dancing during the reception, I opted to take them out immediately after the ceremony and wear my hair up instead.

My hair falls to around the middle of my neck and in order to really look good, I would suggest your own hair fall down a little past your shoulders, if not longer.  Basically, if your hair is long enough to put in a ponytail, then I think the Effortless Extensions will look great.

You should also remember when purchasing the Effortless Extensions that you should match the color of the bottom of your hair to the extensions.  This is the part of your hair which will really have to blend in with the extensions.  The color I chose wasn't as varied as my own hair, since I have both highlights and lowlights all the way through.  This characteristic of my hair made the extensions fairly visible when I was wearing them.

The only part of the Effortless Extensions that made me a little nervous was how easy they were to both put on and take off.  When I moved my head around, I could feel the extensions scooting and moving on my head a little.  They never came close to coming off, but I have to admit that feeling them move made me a little wary.

What I loved about the Effortless Extensions is how they don't damage your own hair in any way, they are lightweight and look and feel very natural.  If you are looking for super sexy volume and thick, voluptuous locks, you can even wear two of these extensions at the same time!
